[dropcap]L[/dropcap]ess than six weeks after becoming offensive line coach at Illinois, it looks like Jim Bridge is leaving for another Big Ten school.
Bridge, who spent the past six seasons at N.C. State before joining Tim Beckman’s staff in late January, is expected to become the offensive line coach at Purdue. A deal may have even been completed Monday night, according to a source.
He would replace Jim Bollman, who left to become co-offensive coordinator at Michigan State.
At N.C. State, Bridge coached tight ends there from 2007-10 and moved to the offensive line in 2011-12 when Tom O’Brien was dismissed.
He followed O’Brien from Boston College, where he coached tight ends from 2003-06.
