Kevin Buford will transfer, while Torrey Campbell will remain at Iowa and focus full time on the track team.

Buford (5-10, 180) was one of seven true freshmen to see action for the Hawkeyes last season. He played in nine games, mostly on special teams, and totaled five tackles.

The Canton, Mich. native was a 2-star recruit by Rivals in 2012. He also had offers from Central Michigan and Toledo out of high school.

Campbell (5-11, 183) is a native of Naples, Fla. He redshirted in 2011, and played in one game in 2012. He competes in sprint and hurdle events for the Iowa track team.

Neither Buford nor Campbell was on the spring two-deep, but Buford jumped ahead of Campbell for playing time last year and is considered a bigger loss.
