Illinois completes 2014 non-conference schedule

memorial[dropcap]I[/dropcap]llinois has announced the final two non-conference games on its 2014 schedule.

The Illini will host Western Kentucky (Sept. 6) and Texas State (Sept. 20) at Memorial Stadium. It will be the school’s first meeting with both teams.

Illinois’ 2014 non-conference slate also features two previously announced games, at home against Youngstown State (Aug. 30) in the season opener and at Washington (Sept. 13).

The 2014 Big Ten schedule has yet to be announced, but the new division alignments mean the Illini will face Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue and Wisconsin from from the West Division, plus two yet-to-be-determined teams from the East.
