Northwestern continues recruiting hot streak; Lands 4-star running back

[dropcap]N[/dropcap]orthwestern’s blistering recruiting continues.

jacksonThe Wildcats landed a commitment from 4-star running back Justin Jackson of Glenbard North High in Carol Stream, Ill.

Jackson chose the Wildcats over Illinois, Iowa and Vanderbilt and many others.

Rivals.com rates him the No. 25 running back in the 2014 class.

As a junior, Jackson rushed for more than 2,700 yards and 38 touchdowns, leading his team to the state title game.

Northwestern assistant Matt MacPherson served as Jackson’s primary recruiter.

Jackson is the Wildcats’ ninth verbal commitment and the fourth 4-star according to Rivals. He is the second running back recruit.

Last week, Northwestern landed 3-star running back Auston Anderson of Plano (Texas) West.

The 5-foot-9, 180-pound Anderson chose the Wildcats over offers from Texas, Stanford, UCLA, Arkansas and Nebraska, among others.
