Bob Stoops’ home burglarized

It’s been an eventful couple of months at Bob Stoops’ residence.

Norman Police are reportedly investigating a burglary at the home of the Oklahoma coach.

According to Lieutenant Eric Lehenbauer of the Norman P.D., the incident happened Wednesday morning around 3:30 a.m. and happened while the Stoops family slept. Among the items stolen was a vehicle.

Police did not release additional details, citing the ongoing investigation.

Stoops was in Wichita, Kan., at a Sooner Caravan event Thursday evening, but reportedly did not mention the robbery in interviews with media.

Last month, the devastating tornado that ripped through central Oklahoma came “about a mile” from Stoops’ home.
