Georgia safety out for the year after toe surgery

[dropcap]G[/dropcap]eorgia has lost another freshman defensive back to injury.

bostickSafety Paris Bostick from Tampa, Fla., will redshirt following surgery to repair a toe injury, according to the Athens Banner-Herald.

Freshman cornerback Reggie Wilkerson was recently lost for the season after he suffered an ACL injury during summer workouts.

Wilkerson was a January enrollee and had worked his way in tot he playing rotation.

Bostick wasn’t in line to play as big of a role this this fall, but any loss is significant in a secondary is already short on depth.

The 6-foot-1, 217-pound Bostick was a 3-star recruit out of Tampa (Fla.) Plant.

He had more than 20 offers but chose the Bulldogs over Arkansas.
