[dropcap]U[/dropcap]CLA sophomore wide receiver Kenneth Walker will miss the 2013 season after undergoing back surgery, according to a Los Angeles Times report.

walkerWalker, 5-9, 175, ca caught 11 passes for 87 yards as a true freshman last season. He also returned seven kickoffs for 138 yards.

UCLA signed a trio of receivers in February, including consensus 4-star recruits Thomas Duarte (6-3, 225) and Eldridge Massington (6-3, 205).

Walker, a 3-star recruit in 2012 out of Richmond (Calif.) John F. Kennedy High, is expected to redshirt and return in 2014 with three seasons to play three.
