Boise State to name Bryan Harsin as head coach

Boise State wasted no time in moving to replace head coach Chris Petersen.

Harsin went 7-5 in his one season at Arkansas State, leading the Red Wolves to a berth in the GoDaddy Bowl.

The 37-year-old Harsin played quarterback for the Broncos from 1995-99, and served as an assistant under head coaches Dan Hawkins and Petersen from 2001 to 2010.

He spent one season as offensive coordinator at Texas before becoming the ASU head coach.
