[dropcap]K[/dropcap]evin Wilson has hired William Inge as co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach, filing the final vacancy on Indiana’s 2013 staff.
Assistant head coach Doug Mallory will serve as defensive coordinator and continue to oversee the safeties.
Inge was the Buffalo Bills assistant defensive line coach in 2012 after two seasons as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at the University of Buffalo. He has 12 years of coaching experience, including stints as the linebackers coach at the University of Cincinnati (2008-09) and San Diego State University (2006-07).
“William has worked with some of the top coaches in our industry – Chan Gailey, Dave Wannstedt, Brian Kelly, Jeff Quinn and Chuck Long – at the collegiate level and in the NFL, where our players aspire to one day play,” Wilson said. “He is a Midwest guy with Big Ten ties and there is no doubt he is the right fit for our staff.”
A St. Louis native, Inge lettered four-year letterman at Iowa from 1993-96.
